Mercurius Experiment at 30 East
Saturday 30th September
Time: 10pm until
In 1974 the Pritchard family moved into their new home at 30 East Drive in Pontefract, West
Yorkshire. Little did they know that events would unfold to make their lives a living hell when they
discovered their new home was a hotbed of poltergeist
The Pritchard’s daughter was main focus of attacks by the entity that was given the
nickname of “Fred.” There were a number of eye witnesses one of which was sister-in-law Renee Holden who
witnessed a number of supernatural disturbances which included throwing things around, freezing temperatures
in rooms, water puddles and noises. One of the most disturbing occurrences was when daughter Diane was
dragged upstairs by her hair!
The news of the events that took place got a lot of media coverage and it was said to be
the most violent poltergeist haunting in European history inspiring film makers to make the movie “When the
Lights Went Out.” The Mercurius Experiment is to establish if female
energy only has an effect on this location. On this occasion this is a
ladies only event.
